MATERIALS
89% Recycled Polyester, 11% Elastane. This material doesn’t feel like your typical polyester, it is insanely soft and comfortable.
COLOR
In the pictures and YouTube video below, I’m wearing the “Dark Salt Heather” color-way.
FIT
The inseam is 7.5in and they are relatively slim in the leg hole, which is what I prefer. My ideal shorts inseam is 7in, so these are just about spot on. Not too loose or too tight, just right. The LHO (Leg Hole Opening) is around 10.75in.
COMFORT
TRUST ME ON THIS, comfort is wear these shorts shine. These are by far the most comfortable shorts I own. They are not only soft, but also extremely stretchy. Some shorts have waistbands that are limited in stretch (basically all Lululemon shorts), but the waistband is very stretchy on these as well. Put it this way, if I’m looking for shorts to wear, I’m checking for these first. It’s super easy to put my name behind this product, I know you guys will love these.
DURABILITY
These shorts feel so soft, you’d think they’re not durable at all, but this isn’t the case. I’ve washed these so many times (because I wear them so much) and they’ve held up very well. Are they as durable as the Kore Shorts? Definitely not, but that’s not what they’re going for with this model.
YOUTUBE
Below is my YouTube review of the different Vuori Shorts, but I set the video below to start playing at the moment I begin the Ponto Shorts portion of the review.
OVERALL
The Vuori Ponto Shorts are the most comfortable shorts I own, made from 89% recycled polyester and 11% elastane, giving them an incredibly soft and stretchy feel. With a 7.5-inch inseam and a slim leg hole, they fit me perfectly. Despite their softness, they’ve held up well after many washes. I highly recommend these shorts, even though they’re a bit pricey and have a visible logo that I wish wasn’t there.
PROS
- Super soft and comfortable (I guarantee these will be one of the comfiest shorts you’ve ever tried on)
- Great fit/length (slim with 7.5in inseam)
- Decent color selection
- Back and side zipper pockets
CONS
- The visible “V” on the front/bottom of shorts. I prefer that to be gone.
- Strings on outside (I don’t mind, but some do)
- Color selection could be better
- Pretty expensive
